Instructions
Using a knife, remove the crust from the bread, cut it into pieces, and place it in the blender to make breadcrumbs.
Empty the breadcrumbs into a bowl. In the blender, add the tarama, slowly pour in the olive oil, and blend at a low speed until the oil is finished.
Gradually add the lemon juice, followed by the onion and garlic, and blend at high speed.
Finally, add the breadcrumbs gradually while blending at high speed to bind the taramosalata.
In the end, you should have a smooth and fluffy cream.
Notes
Tips:
Never add salt because tarama is very salty.
It is crucial to blend the tarama in a blender and not in a food processor.
Store in a glass jar with a lid in the refrigerator.
