Hi. I am Nicole Marinou.
I am a Food blogger & Private Chef. Come and join me on my journey of taste.
The story behind the Greek Dish Recipes blog!
Hello!
Welcome to the Greek Dish Recipes Blog.
I am Nicole Marinou, I was born and live in Athens with my husband and our daughter.
My wanderings in the kitchen started at an early age near my mom.
I remember myself wearing an apron and holding a wooden spoon ready to help at any time.
I loved buying magazines and cookbooks from a young age, flipping through them to read the recipes and then experimenting by creating my own flavors.
Now cooking for me has evolved into an endless journey of exploring flavour.

I have attended cooking seminars for two years at YOLENI’S with the renowned chef Dina Nikolaou and I have studied Culinary Art Technician-Chef at the IEK ALFA school in my effort to gain even more knowledge in terms of cooking.
I collaborate with newspapers, websites and food companies writing recipes.
I also share my recipes daily on social media.
Apart from cooking I love the sea and nature.
I love trying new flavours, mixing ingredients and making delicious and healthy dishes for my family and friends without processed foods and unhealthy margarines. I primarily use olive oil and seasonal ingredients to add flavor and color to my food.
Cooking is about passion, so it may look slightly temperamental in a way that it’s too assertive to the naked eye.

I love discovering small producers and cooking with their products.
I feel very happy when I see the excitement on my loved ones’ faces when they try one of my dishes and it gives me the incentive to explore new flavors.
The reason I started a cooking site is to show you my cuisine and the delicacies of our land with a more modern look and to get you in the process of trying them.
So welcome to the magical world of my kitchen where here you will find delicious sweet and savoury recipes.
